BLC – Ice Cold Pan Serving Units

For Cafeteria Style with Open Base. Designed to hold salads, desserts and other chilled foods on a bed of ice in 12″ x 20″ serving pans or by directly placing items in the cold pan for a cold, crisp, fresh appearance in any cafeteria, buffet or meal make-up line.

A wide range of attractive plastic laminate colors is available, or urethane painted panels o blend with any decor.

Top

Constructed of 16-gauge, type 304 stainless steel, die-formed, welded, ground and polished to a uniform finish with rolled front edge.

Body

  • Frame construction shall be of hi-tensile square aluminum tubing, 1-1/4”, with 3-3/4” extruded, vertical radius corners.
  • Frame sections are all welded construction, ground and polished to a uniform finish.
  • Body is complete with front panel, end panels and 8-5/8″ rear apron of plastic laminate on .050 aluminum.
  • Owner to specify laminate finish.
  • CAM LOCK™ locking system included with each unit to align and retain cart positioning, when two or more units are joined.

Ice Cold Pan

  • The cart is complete and includes an ice cold pan installed in the top.
  • Constructed of 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel.
  • The pan is fully insulated with high-density polystyrene, 1″ thick on all sides, 2″ thick on the bottom and enclosed by a 22-gauge galvanized steel outer liner.
  • The interior liner is fabricated with 1/4″-radius coved corners and provided with a 3/4″ diameter drain with strainer, 4″ PVC nipple, and valve.
  • The cold pan will accommodate 12″ x 20 pans of 2-1/2″ and 4″ depths, as well as fractional-size pans.

Casters

  • NSF-approved, 5″ diameter non-marking rubber tired, swivel plate caster with grease fittings.
  • Both casters on the operator’s side have foot-activated brakes.
